Meet Kathy – Simply Blessed Portraits

Hello and welcome! I’m Kathy, the heart behind Simply Blessed Portraits. I’m a proud mom of six, happily married, and my photography journey began in 2013 after the birth of our fourth son. What started as a way to freeze fleeting moments of my own children quickly grew into a deep passion for capturing meaningful memories for other families as well.

Photography, for me, is about connection. I love meeting new families, hearing their stories, and creating images that become treasured keepsakes for years to come. From maternity and newborns to seniors, family portraits, and engagements, every session is crafted with care, intention, and heart.

Our journey started with a cozy studio in Cullman, and in 2023 we expanded into a larger space to welcome even more families. In July 2025, we closed our Cullman studio as we prepare for our next exciting chapter—finding the perfect new location in the Huntsville/Madison area.
